Update on Measles Outbreak
As of Wednesday, May 10, 51 confirmed cases of the measles have been reported statewide by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
We are continuing to collaborate with MDH and emergency management partners to adapt our processes to properly care for patients and minimize the spread.
As part of that effort, hospital visitor restrictions remain in effect and apply to visitors who meet any one of the following criteria:
- under the age of 5
- unvaccinated for measles, mumps and rubella (MMR)
